And evidence suggests suspending violent students from school only makes them more likely to repeat the behaviour in the future.
In a survey of almost 4,000 students aged 12 to 16 from across Victoria and Washington State, researchers asked participants if they had in the previous 12 months either attacked someone with the idea of seriously hurting them or beaten up someone so badly they required medical treatment.
In Victoria, 17.5 per cent of boys admitted to violence, compared with 12.6 per cent of those from Washington State.

Now if violent during childhood, and especially during the teens and early 20s when behaviour becomes habituated, what are the implications?
So many Aussie males seem to feel that 'bullying' women is ok...
It's 'normal' to them...
(unless of course they have received a decent education either at home or at school, or in the workplace under legislated 'training' and 'policy' requirements...)
