Mme scorps I too am here for forums now. But I think Hegelian Master-slave dialectic would be more appropriate than Cartesian dualism. The Forum is the mirror in which I ( My identity and personality) is reflected and I am the mirror in which Forum finds its identity. Any way I am reminded of early civic forums of Athens where through free speech and debates greek civilisation took its first steps into glory. -with regards

meh...only msgs i ever get are from ****wads from over seas wanting me to add then to yahoo...mostly scammers...oh what joy...not...only here for forums now days

I joined hoping to meet someone but the members in my area are few and far between so Now I Just forum and moderate, fills in my spare time, Not that I have much of that anymore.

Mme Boss just curious when do moderators get to sleep given this is a site international spanning across several time zones and posts appearing out off the hat in a jiffy. with regards and appreciation for all moderators.

We are Members first Indianaj, living, breathing human beings who still need our sleep. We Moderate because we enjoy it not because we have to so we still sleep just like everyone else. Myself I check the site before I go to bed and I check it again when I rise in the morning before I start my day. It is 7.20am here now and I have just climbed out of bed ready to start the new week ahead, I will be at TAFE by 8.40am and won't get home until after 3pm when I will log on again and catch up on what has happened here.

Thats really great. Wherever we are, what food we eat and what habits we may have, one thing is certain. Decency prevails in the world. Moderation is the silent virtue. with regards and best wishes.
