I’ve been dating this wonderful guy for 5 months now. He is relocating for a great job offer. It is about 3.5 hrs away and he wants me and my daughter to move with him. Do you think this is too soon to pack up and move with him?

I personally don’t think 5 months is long enough! I would never involve my daughter until I dated the guy for at least a year. Even before I thought of moving in...5 months is still not very long and people can manage to hide their "true colours", for that short period of time. But I do wish you luck! I would still date him and see the distance brings you closer together.

Ditto to the above concerns. Especially to the hiding of true colours. 3.5 hrs drive is better than 4hrs and besides this, how is a long trip once a month to visit each other (for a while at least) going to hurt. I don't think you would have asked this question if you didn't have doubts in the first place so just see how the distance goes for a while yet.

My opinion is go for it, as long as your child stays happy during the encounter, and besides you know we need women, who else is going to wash our sox ?????
ivw had some great times with women, who after a short time (shorter than 5 months) we have lived together, there is no set time for some people get to know each others quirks in a very short time and for others after 5 years they are still wondering if they should or shouldnt
