In the last week I must have gotten 4 or 5 demands in marriage and could have had at least 24 babies.

Scammers are on the prowl again and watch it. I am pretty good in spotting them. It is written in the way their profiles is written.

No Pictures
"Prefer not to say" in majority of fields
Always simple good looking lady looking for man to marry (and this repeats itself four five times in a row)
Usually in 20's and from the US for me
IM you before they have seen your profile

Is it my face that says come try to **** me to them, do I look like a bozo a sucker

man in 40's still single must be their targets

Anyway just watch them and please PP be more thorough in screening applicants.

We could play doubles!

Thought i'd fixed them by barring anything from overseas.

But alas........ to easy to change country.

Maybe an IP check of sorts?

I totally agree here...

Scammers are targeting dating sites in hope of nailing some poor lonley male out there genuanelly seeking love etc...

My friend received one of these emails, and lord what lies she or they were spinning...

As soon as my friend was, foolish enough to answer email, the nonsence started..

She or they said..... I am really Wealthy but my parents have died and I need to transfer millions in a foreign account, blah blah etc...

Some are just blatantly asking for presents, like make up ,clothiong, , etc, later they get brazen and start asking for ..MONEY...

There is always a story, of dying, sick, poor relative and that is why they need cash etc...

Actually these women DO NOT EXIST... Scammers are trawling websites posting fake profiles and pictures to try and catch some vulnerable lonley male looking for genuane relationship...

All, I can say is.. BEWARE...

I LOATHE CON ARTISTS.. I am vaging a war against this vermin..

Hi all,

No doubt there will be all sorts of scammers.

It's always going to be hard for PP to filter them on application, but there do seem to be some other options...

Like aphrodites - just tell them to "go away" (before you hand out you bank details!)

Use the block filters. Sure the scammer can reprofile, but if you have blocked them once they will probably figure that there are other people to try....

Maybe even post "suspected", scammers in a thread in here for the education of the rest of us. This is a bit risky and open to reverse abuse (you maliciously name someone that not a scammer but who otherwise you want to upset ) But its a thought.....
