Limiting who contacts you

Hi there,
I'm new to the site and find it quite interesting.
My only question so far is: can I restrict who can contact me, either through the IM or any other way.

Although flattering I'm not fussy on being IMed by a 26yr old from India especially since I live in Canada!

Thechief is working on contact probs with the IM but until then do as most of the fems here do...minimize the IM window and let them chat to themselves

Thanks for the advice.
It can be flattering, but mostly it's annoying when you
get these young guys keep contacting you.

So my second question is: what does it mean when you click
on someone's profile and it's unavailable to view.
Is it just hidden or are they being banned?

Sorry, was having a blonde moment.
I figured out why I couldn't access a blocked profile.
They have blocked access from other countries.

Thanks anyway.

Some also set their profile to invisible christmasangel, hiding behind the monitor and an invisible profile to annoy the good people who are here for the right reasons.
