the indian government is very craczy to make partial laws like Dowry prevention Act, domestic harrasement Act, which are meant only to harrase any man and break the families, its better to abolish the family system instead of all theese laws. because family means, just compromise if there is a law which stimulate and take one side defenately it breaks the other because, defenately there will be some difference of opinion between any two hearts regarding many things. SO PLEASE ABOLISH FAMILY SYSTEM.

WHY?? so males can continue to beat the living daylights out of their women partners and get away with it?? So children can continue to suffer through Neglect simply because some laws do not allow abortion or to have children removed from an abusive situation? I don't think so. I am appalled at some of the laws other countries have in regard to Defacto/married relationships and children. sexual assault happens everywhere to all parties, women, men and children, if we didn't have laws to prosecute offenders then god help the human race is all I will say.

cutey you just expressed MY Sentiments eaxctly..
I did not want to be (again), acused as being racist, sexist man hater etc...

But, where he comes from, women are treatd abominably, not all but in rural villages shocking..

Saw lots of documentaries and I know a few Idian women who told me horror stories about married women and their lot in India....

I am NOT blaming India, it is just the customs there, which need to be changed .. And this might take time...

Yes Cute, I agree with you, and if you saw his other post he mentioned that his poor wife also ended the lives of the children..

God, something must have really made her take such shocking and drastic acrions.. I wonder what drove her to do this...

Oh, yes there is MORE to this post I relize that...

Hugs from Scorpio and cats...

In dowry harrassment law, a woman can file a complaint against her in-laws, husband and his siblings (in India everyone stays together as a joint family). Many women take advantage of this law; and harass the husband and in particular harass the in-laws for some monetary or some other gains. This puts the authorities in doubt about the complaint. As a result, some women who are really harrased wont get the attention they really need. In any family law, both the husband and his woman should be given equal hearing.

Isn't that what EQUALITY is all about!

yes Mr. Simple, this is what i really needed response, but the polititians here in india are shameless people to do any gimmick to attract vote: one day they say they give free T.V, Free Washing machine, Free that thing this thing like that to attract women votes they have made this non-sense laws which are really spoing the families instead of giving right protection to the people and family.

I agree with equality simple guy BUT, it is not the wife who is seeking the dowry here obviously as she killed herself and her children. NOW WHY would she do that???? This is what we are asking. Something drastic must have happened for her to think her only solution was to take the lives of her children and herself. SO if shushu is being harrassed for Dowry who is harrassing him and WHY is what you need to ask. IS it her Famliy seeking the dowry and if so why?

Madam, that is what i want to know what is the best reason to kill her ownchildren? she would have taken and gon away if her husband is bad, we were living indipendently at our own home but that was not the case she had illigal relationship with her cousin which i never suspected and went on thinking she might have become mad, something is wrong while her child delivery and all but i never suspected her in goodfaith i had given all that liberty a man in india generally never do. i came to know that only after her death and reading her death note but my in-law people gave a false complaint of the dowrry harrasement after her death for which this govt. put me behind the bars without any enquiry for months together and they have spoiled many of those records which could have proved their and her ill-wills. I am opposing those things only sorry i could not put every thing here. It is not only my story it is the story of many here in india today its happening. without any previous records for years together of such harrasements in her lifetime for up to seven years, how they book such cases isn't cruel or partial in law ?
