Hello I had a baby daughter 42 yrs ago to a Dublin man,we met in Sydney in 1962 and then again in New Zealand (where I fell pregnant) he said if I got rid of the baby we could stay together (nothing much has changed in life has it ?) my daughter grew up and Married an Irish man had two great boy's now 7yrs and 9yrs old and my daughter has just finished a Uni course to be a Movie Producer.I would love to know if her Father is alive,she went to Ireland to try to find him,but no luck and I have tried on the internet,but no luck. His name is Bill Whelan he would be 69 yrs old now,(his Father had the same name and also lived in Dublin and was a ship write) Bill said he represented Ireland in about 1958-1960 for Soccer.
I do hope someone knows him.

*** Well... forty years is a long time. But, there must be someone that knows him,(If he's still alive???) If he was a good Football player as you said he represented Ireland then I sugest
you try (If you didn't already) Irish Football Federation,Australian Footbal Federation or FIFA the world house of Footbal. I'm sure they keeping all the records from the players who have nad played for the National squad,or for the local team. Good luck. ***
