I hope it is large enough to read. I wrote this poem 20 months after my son was diagnosed with cancer.

Such a beautiful poem there Cute...

You are a strong woman and a brave little boy you have there. What you had been through is such a gruelling experience and not everybody can survive that.

I wish your boy a full recovery and long and meaningful life ahead!

Thank you Sophisticatedone, I surprised myself when I wrote this poem, it just seemed to come so easily, I guess because it was something extremely close to my heart, I cried when I wrote it too, I still cry now when I read it and remember every little detail of when we were in the hospital. My Son is doing fantastically, he has been cancer free now for 4 years in January and has 6 monthly checkups in Melbourne at the Children's' Hospital. I'm sure My little boy has a purpose in life as His oncologist calls him a miracle boy, He should not be here! He is definitely a fighter and I feel he is destined for great things when he gets older.

I was afraid it would be too small to read without downloading Scorps. Glad you thought of doing that.

No problemo sweetie,
But, I still think this is Worthy of Publishing on Art Site, unless it is personal and you think it not for Art Sites etc...

I have someone with cancer in my family, it is my cousin, she is about 58..

But, I get sad when I hear or read that an innocent child has this insidious illness..

May your boy be saved from anu future such illness..
Hugs from, Scorpio and cats...

Wow! What A Poem! You just made my cry! Beautiful. To say sorry that this has happened, is not even enough. Aren't our kids amazing, and your son is certainly a brave wee fighter! So, glad to hear that he is now doing so well, you're a great & lovely Mum! I wish you both a Wonderful 2008!
