I am not an aggressive person just a quiet type of guy who enjoys making people smile and i think poetry has a way of doing that and Kamilla you are welcome to write anything you want about my poetry just so long as it wont make my head swell LOL :)

Being 39 is great... purrfect...
Ah I remember when I was 39...
Maybe I should have stayed 39 for the past two decades??? lol
Nah nobody would believe that...
not without an xtreme makeover, lol
my 'younger years' was 39... lol...
what do you think of people 60+???
geriatric years? lol...
I know of many 'young' (as in younger than 20) enjoy and appreciate poetry...
So please do not think it a reflection on you, your poetry or poetry in general, but their inability to appreciate...
As if anything I write could do that... lol
Anyway I can write nonsense rhyme as you may have noticed on some thread Newdawn started... then I spoke in rhyme all the time, sounding like a loon that swallowed a spoon...
crazy lady all aflutter surely was a right nutter...
that's easy...
but poetry is not simply rhyming couplets...
It's a gift...
It does not come easy to me, as I tend to do 'flow of consciousness' and that sounds weird...
But on occasion, now and then, when in deep emotional anguish, I write to 'vent', it may actually be almost poetry as simple rhyming couplets emerge...
I did have ago here once but deleted pretty much straight away...
felt it detracted from the previous poster's piece...
It was about 'true love' (my faithful dying dog's love for me) and the adoration etc in their eyes, too teary at times,
You know that 'unconditional love' a dog has? indescribable...
My attempt did not do it justice...
I write jingles... not poetry...
