So many Kiwi's living in OZ now that the world sees us as part of Australia!
Manybe some of us should come home? I did.
Funny thing was I was never settled in OZ; nice place to visit, but it's sure ain't home!
One true blue Kiwi here folks: born & breed... well I guess to be perfectly true... partly breed as my highschool was in Oz.
I made my first big major life altering mistake there also... I went to Matric College instead of Art School. So at this late stage of life (check out my profile if yr curious) I'm signing up finally with TLC in Wellington. My aim is to complete diploma with honours.
I don't officially start till Oct, but unofficially I've never stopped doing some or other artist project. So time to get that peice of paper to hang on the wall (that the academic community values so highly) and then see if I can cross credit it to my Uni degree in Screen & Media... sounds like it should be worth 1/2. No doubt tho the Uni will disagree somewhat. Anyone else ever find that 1st yr Uni is marked harder than and yr subjects? I was doing both yrs concurrent & all my marks for 2nd yr subjects were way higher than for the 1st yr one... the prof I mentioned it to seemed to think it was my imagination, only the marks do kind of speak for themselves! A's verses B's! I guess it's called blind professionalism when even the prof's cant see a difference!
Any other Uni/ Arts/ Art/ Craft people here? Espec in Hamilton, NZ?
