Wow! I've heard about the Internet, but I thought you could only get it in America at the moment and it's REALLY expensive.

I reckon it will be years before it's available anywhere else and years after that before it is affordable.

Isn't it amazing tho, that the hackers and crackers are already working how to abuse this emerging technology? Computer geeks I guess.

I don't think it will be subject to too much abuse until M!crosoft get on the band wagon. At the moment I hear that Bill G thinks its something to distract his competitors and he's happy for the CERN people to develop Mosa!c as a toy for academics as long as they want .... he's concentrating on releasing Windows 99 before 2020.

But if M!crosoft get involved, you can bet that the computer geeks will be able to send virus' to each other over this new fangled Internet.

well dred I am assuming if you look at the word INTERNET and breat it down....
INTER meaning:- To place in a grave or tomb; bury.
NET meaning:- a bag or other contrivance of strong thread or cord worked into an open, meshed fabric used to catch or ensnare.

Then I guess it would be something for catching and burying something

well A.L. Long long ago in a world which was entirely different, where penpals survived and mails meant exotic stamps and writing skills were required to compose emotions, a personal computer jumped through window(s) and got itself hooked onto others. Perhaps it is at that time no body seems to have bothered to ask themselves whether they were ready.
