They've never been friends. He's an "arrogant narcissist" and a bully. And no, she's not gay.

Here are just a few snippets from the News story that I think are worthy of comment...

Before an audience of several thousand people at the Melbourne Good Food and Wine Show, following an interview with Grimshaw the previous day, Ramsay described her as "a lesbian".

He then showed a picture of a woman, who appeared naked. The woman was posed on her hands and knees but had multiple breasts and the facial features of a pig.

"That's Tracy Grimshaw," he said.

"I had an interview with her yesterday, holy crap. She needs to see Simon Cowell's Botox doctor."

Ramsay's publicist later said the comments were a joke and that Ramsay and Grimshaw had a good relationship.




She said Ramsay and his publicist asked before her interview that she not ask about his private life - Ramsay's image has taken a battering after an alleged extra-marital affair made headlines earlier this year.

"... Gordon Ramsay made me promise not to ask on Friday about his private life. He then got on stage on Saturday and made some very clear and uninformed insinuations about mine," Grimshaw told viewers.

• "Obvious Gordon thinks that any woman who doesn't find him attractive must be gay.

The comments were no joke, she said.

"I was absolutely miserable when I found out late Saturday afternoon. He says it's a joke. Well, not to me or anyone who cares about me," she said.

"Truly, I wonder how many people would laugh if they were effectively described as an old, ugly pig."

Grimshaw said she had been unsure whether or not to respond to the jibes.

• "But we all know that bullies thrive when no-one takes them on, and I'm not going to sit meekly and let some arrogant narcissist bully me," she said

.

It is interesting to note how often a narcissistic, arrogant and 'lower status' male will resort to claiming a confident, classy, straight woman must be a lesbian if she isn't 'impressed' with his 'charm' and doesn't respond to his attempts to flirt with her...

And yes, I totally agree with her final comment. Do not appease bullies by letting them get away with their abusive behaviour.

I am following this saga with much interest, and Mr Ramsey, he of the excellent culinary skills and screwed up little gnome face, is asking for it..

But, think folks he is No Slouch when it comes to attack.. He is after all a Scorpio not evolved one I grant that, and that is why he likes to sting. Or so he thinks he is stinging.. Lmao..

I still watch his Hells Kitchen and the Kitchen Nightmares just so I can see Gordons face go red as a beet and I am just waiting when he will meet his own big mouthed match..

Sooner or later he will and what a show that will be..

PS: I read his Biography and he is Not a happy chappy that is for sure.. Brother heavy heroin user, mom was beaten by drunkurd of a father, Gordon was never good enough man in his fathers eyes, no wonder he is the way he is..

I've missed a bit somewhere and was wondering what specifically got under Gordon Ramsay's skin that caused him to fire off in such a manner. Saying it was 'just a joke' between friends perhaps shows that there are differences between what men and women find amusing?

It seems to me that perhaps women are finally being heard when they speak up and say they do not find filthy language, insults and bad behaviour to be acceptable to them?

Gordon Ramsey is starting to loose my favour. While he might be a great chef, and somewhat of a showman, after what I have seen of him over all of this episode I think he is nothing but a bullying arrogant pig.He is def no gods gift to women even tho he certainly thinks so.
What gives him the right to speak to and treat people the way he does, especially women. What type of message is he portraying to his own children about the ways of life.He hasn't even the decency to apologize personally, instead does it thru his publicist.
The worse thing he could of done was attack a member of the Australian media whom many love and admire...let's see NOW how many will go to his restaurant here in Melbourne when it opens...not a wise move sunshine
