it began when shopkeeper's stopped asking for id to buy my dunhill's
****, I could get into pubs unchallenged from the age of 18 (back in the days of 21-years minimum drinking age) - could have got in when I was 15 or 16 had I desired. Never been challenged buying cigarettes or alcohol. Guess I was never in the young crowd...
But then, me pubes aren't grey yet (my beard is and there's a bit of grey in my hair) so I'm doing better than DRED LOL
haha alzo,im still part of the young crowd! i get called mate, bud, dude, fck head ect! plus most of my new buds i hang rnd with r only 20-22 n they all think im the same age!
Whether they know or not, the fact that you are pretending you're younger only means that you do realize your not part of the young crowd anymore. Time to grow up little boy.
For me it was when I was 33 I was at a clothing store and the girl in her early twenties that was serving me kept on referring to me by Mr. it bothered me but thought hey maybe she's polite but after that I notice that all young girls were saying the same thing thats when I knew I wasn't part of the young crowd anymore but had reach the next stage.
At first I was a little bombed out when I got called Miss, or ma'am, but now I see it as a sign of respect, for realizing that I may know a little more than they do. You feel me.
and no time for yourself
and you re enter the world through new eyes
you notice how its changed
but iam having more fun
and feel much younger now than in meny meny years gone bye
just need to get out there and enjoy life
