well they say life starts after 40 well i am 41 i am still single so my life hasnt started yet. is there any real men around.

Life starts no matter what age, be it 40, 50, 100, etc...


As for real men or otherwise.. Honestly does your life starting has to depend on that..

Sadclown if you can love yourself for who you are, not be afraid to be who you are, and live your life the way you would like to, these are the things that will make you happy and complete.
none of these things is easy to achieve but if you can even just try to attain one your life will be enriched greatly.
A partner doesnt necessarily make you happy, relationships can be hard work and that is the good ones, bad realtionships can be soul destroying.

be yourself always, try to be confident in yourself... strangely enuff this generaly make s us more attractive as well!

Completely agree ScorpioW, life is what you make it..It doesn't come to you, go out & get it! Trust me, you can spend sooo much time trying to find that 'Special Someone' that your life can pass you by. Spend it doing everything you love, sharing it with everyone you love & be open to new opportunities, while being true to yourself.
Remember, too much time being spent on one task... Is not good Time Management. Apply the same to your personal life too, all about trying to find balance. Not easy i know, but I believe you're not old until your at least 90, so by that theory, you've got a whole lot of living to do!

Hi sadclown, I've just looked at your profile to see how I can advise/help.
You have 3 kids, which for a start off, I think you deserve a medal for. I only have one, and that's hard enough, so my hat off to you!
It's good that you are so positive! You're right, I don't know what your kids ages are, but you are now thinking that it's time for some "You" time. For you to start thinking and involving in your life what "You" deserve & want. Obviously, the search for a friend, boyfriend, partner etc. And it sounds like, your finding it hard to find "Mr Right". I sympathise with you, and you're certainly not alone in your search. There are some complete ****heads out there, but you know what? It's Them that are missing out. And please remember that you deserve love and respect, just like everybody else does! I wish you love, respect & happiness, but one tip I do have; Change your name to "Happy Clown" Be positive!!

Life can start at any age, be it 20, or 40, or god forbid after 60, just enjoy your existence on this mortal coil...

sometimes what we need is right there but as were concertrateing on other things we are unable to see it
