What's your feelings on grey hair

Some people are quite happy to go grey naturally.

Others like to colour their grey.

I prefer to cover the grey, I love going to the hairdressers and being pampered.

It gives me a lift when my hair is beautiful. I have highlights regularly at a top salon. that my little treat to myself.

Opinions please.

Shades of Grey
The catchy title attracted my atention. Now who would have thought it referred to hair? Certainly not me. I applaud you Luke. You work so hard at creating new topics to keep these forums interesting.

As I've said elsewhere, I enjoy my grey hair, on me, that is. It's not for everyone of course. There's actually quite a few advantages for me.

First, I actually like the colour. It's a unique blend that would take a really skillful hair colourist a lot of work to create. I think it suits my eye colour and skin tones. Furthermore, it goes with the clothing colours I enjoy wearing. If I add pewter grey coloured shoes and bag, I feel 'colour coordinated' and somehow taller.

I do not have much gray.. Not yet.. But, as I colour my raven hair, I will never know..

Yes, I love colouring hair, make up, especially lipstick all the trapings of looking good or in my case.. Insecure.. Lmao....

As soon as I save enough cash.. Face Lift here I come..
But if anyone is comfortable with Looks Au Naturell, that is fine also..

The older I get mother nature and Moi just do not see eye to eye when it comes not only to gray hair, but the draging everything down.. Lmao..

Hi Kamilla, your hair sounds nice, I am not quite ready to go grey yet as i still have allot of my own colour left.

When I decide I would prefer to have a nice tone of grey or an ash blond.

I suppose when the time come I will need to take advice from my stylist.

I'm comfortable with it. I don't like chemicals and the need for frequent touch-ups of regrowth. The ease of wash, dry, scrunch and go wet or dry works for me. My hairdresser is a genius and gives me a new look every time.

Be thankful you are male and not female?

Speaking of being thankful. I am thankful that I still have my own head of hair to shampoo and style. Mature-age metallic grey also coordinates well with silver, platinum and white gold jewellery, not to mention black pearls. Well anyway I think it does.

There are lovely wigs and a tupe is also nice, and there is always hair tarnsplant, if Burt Newton can do it why not you..
who said only Celebraties have the god given right to indulge in vanity..

If one can afford it, I say Do It, ego is not a dirty word.. Just my two cents worth..
