No soul should be alone at Christamas...

I used to just go, to all these chrissie parties when I was volunteereing, at my local mission.. Met some nice folks and had a super chrissie lunch etc...

Better than familly ASRGUMENTS, as it always happens at Christams, Easter New Yaer... I made myself a promise..NO MORE Idiot family gatherings... We just can NOT be civil to each other.. Not even for ONE day......

I rather spend it with total starngers.. Than familly who are irriating...

Ok girls and boys....need some serious 'heads up' with who will be making it to the Christmas party and how many you will be bringing..especially need to know how many kidlets there will be. It takes a lot of work organizing these get togethers and i need to start doing so next week. So get those calendars out and see if you are free that day to make it to a great day out for everyone

cheers

I agree, and come on folks.. This lady is gracious to host these...

We should at least thank her by SHOWING UP... This just shows respect for all that she is doing, to make it pleasant for all of us..

Hugs and merry meet from, Scorpio and cats...

hey Chris and Scorps will be good to see you both again

and yes I will agree with both Chris and Scorps, Sexci is the best hostess out and the company is not only good but a heck of a lot of fun as well...

yes it is scary going to meet people in person that we havent met before, but I can vouch that none of us bite on the first meeting! Come along, meet new friends and get to see your forum buddies in person, some are even better the flesh than on here

I don't have a choice Scorps every 2nd year the kids go to dad xmas eve and don't come back till 4pm on xmas day and this year is that 2nd year. My family is very divided also out of 8 kids only 4 of us speak to each other and it's usually only at xmas dinner, the rest of the year I never hear from any of them. I would love to attend the xmas party but like I said funds will not allow. Maybe this year I will take myself off to a pub for some xmas lunch and get totally smashed before the kids come home and just let them raid the cupboards for dinner while I sleep.

I totally understand you, I am not that friendly with my zoo of a family either...

I might just spend it with my darling cats, after a few drinks we might caterwault and sing to our neighbors, LMAO...
