Hello all

Have i gone down the wrong track by putting info about myself online more so than info about my likes and dislikes? My Theory is that any one interested in me would prefer to know a bit about me personaly as it tells them more the type of person i am rather than just my likes & dislikes. What do you all reckon.

You would think so. I believe there is no point in wasting my time or your time. In the end most don't even read my profile in part because it's more then 2 lines. If they did they wouldn't have contacted me in the first place. This doesn't stop them even if they do read my profile!
The other thing is most only write what is a given. Who doesn't like romantic dinners, and walks along the beach in the moonlight, sitting by a roaring fire, snuggling under a blanket to watch a movie! You get the picture. So why was time and effort to put that! Not many put any effort into their presentation of themselves. To the rare few who it matters to though it's well worth it.

Thanks Angel, thats what i thought and feel, I don't want to know what Hobbies or How many Cats a person has, that can be found out later, but rather more about the person which is much more attractive to me and also indicates to me that the person is genuine, Confident and know exactly what they want and don't want, your profile is an excellent example of what i mean, you are obviously very in touch with your self on all levels. BTW I envy you living in Canada, thats a country i have always wanted to see, it's on my to do list along with the painted deserts of Mexico, The Andies, Nepal, and a host of other "Out of the way places". My thanks for your opinion.
