I keep reading a ton of profiles that state, "looking for my soulmate"
It makes me wonder.

1/ Why the majority of people on here are looking for soulmates?

2/ If you are reading this would you mind letting me know, What your interpretation of a soulmate is?

Before anyone asks for my interpretation of a soulmate, id like to read what everyone else has to say on the subject before posting my reply.

Im no psychologist & this isn't a form or a study.

Im a life student, who likes to understand.

We are not here to fix change or belittle another person.
We are here to support, forgive & heal one another!

Soulmate, in my case it would be someone with similar thoughts, feelings, and yes, interests as myself..

Someone you can have instant raport...

I am NOT into Changing or Moulding anyone to my blueprint, but, having that elusive Chemistry is nice when it happens...

Soulmate

In spriritual terms: Soul passing from the spiritual realm, into the physical
body. Requiring the use of a vehicle until one has finished
their learning.

To reincarnate over many centuries and have the ability
to become in sync with one another.
Thus having the feeling of being at peace, living with your
true self.

The term Soulmate derives from having experienced and
sharing a sense of 'Wholeness'. Being and feeling, ONE.

I think Katz and Scorpio have pretty much said it as i also think and feel its someone who is on same wave legnth and someone who know's what yu are thinking before yu even say it and Mutual connections
Understandings not afraid to tell each other things it would be as being One Joined a part of yu that has been missing ''

My perception of a soulmate is someone who you connect with on a spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical level. All of these areas together create what I believe to be a soulmate connection. However, in order to connect in every area it is necessary to be open to get to know a person really well to know there is a true connection in every way.

Well I started this conversation inanother title, so i will endevour to tell what a soulmate is, or what i believe to be one.
Its very rare that you bump into someone, that you know you have never met before, but you both know straight away, when you look at each other that you have met, but not in this life, and you both have a connection to each other,
MInd. Body, soul, feeling, emotional, in other words, the Five senses, everything that you know, what you are looking for in a relationship is right in front of you, and more, that you didnt know, its like looking at yourself, but only in the opposite sex of you. nothing is out of place, you just live, and you know the other person feels the same, you are even connected in thoughts,
This is what i believe is a soul mate, they say frist impressions count, when meeting someone, everyone has a fairly good idea, after meeting for the frist time, whether its going to work or not, its instinct, well the same goes to meeting your soul mate, its the souls of each other that connect, not the body, If you believed in God, and you know God knows everything about you, then it would be same as that,....This is what i believe...i could be wrong... Im only human.... . Im telling you from a encounter I had...This is what i felt....

..someone who is trustworthy and and likes you,who is ready to accept you as you are.with whom you think that you can go for long.

Your the Yin, their the yang! She or he completes you and vice versa.

Well there are generally speaking three broad phases to a lasting relationship:
infatuation - love is blind
conflict - marriage is an eye opener
acceptance - divorce is a *****
So I guess a soulmate is someone who you can manage the conflict with and develop acceptance.

I"ve had this experience with a woman who is now one of my best friends. The first time I saw this woman and looked into her eyes, I knew she was a soul mate. I don't think it's confined to romantic/sexual relationships, and I don't think there's only one soul mate for each of us.
