I find the lack of communication is the cause, from my experience (3 times engaged once married) men are never happy with what they have and always want to try and find someone more FUN (in the bedroom of course) Others simply cannot help themselves and want to have a woman in every town they happen to frequent just so they know they will always be able to GET A BIT. Then you have the ones who say the right thing and do the right thing until they have you and then they are sick of you after a while.
Men do it because it is an ego trip for them, Women do it simply because the man they have does not satisfy their need (whatever that may be)
