I live in the Midwest and met a woman in California on a trip and have been communicating by phone since last year. I would not ordinarily pursue a long distance relationship but the woman is from Russia and has been in the US for 3 or 4 years. I am not experienced at the LD relationships but thought since she was from Russia if would be more acceptable to her to be involved in this type of relation. Is that true? I may go back west soon and don't know how quickly to move forward. She is more honest and straightforward than most US women I have met. Any advice is appreciated.

As I do not know the woman but i do know my Slavic sisters etc..

she is only 2 to 3 years in USA, if she has no Green Card that is why she is so Honest.. She is looking for a nice patsy to help her stay ..

Sorry if this sounds harsh, but, many are only after green card, and nothing more..

Get and know her a little bit better, see whats he is actually after.

Long distant relationships have their pros and cons...as does any relationship!

You stated this gem is 'more honest and straight forward than most US women', so why not reciprocate and let her know your honest intentions?!

Consistency in communications is the key to keeping one in sync with what you think, feel, and action.
Don't let fear run the course, be in charge of what you desire and intentionally make an effort to include your gem in whatever you plan.

So true, but if one does not put the effort or the time into ANY relationship, then how is one to know?

I know of many Russian women whom reside in Tauranga NZ and have been very warm, honest and happy go lucky people!
