Ok I am a single parent and have been for over 4 years now. Yes it is Scary at first but Guess what it Gets easier. My problem now is not the fact I am single but the fact I am now so used to being alone and doing things myself I find it difficult to let others into my life. I have had 2 partners in the time I left my Ex husband and both turned out to be losers so now I am very wary of anyone I let into my life. Kids are a great Judge of character too by the way, take notice of how they interact with anyone you do meet.

You have raised a very valid point here. Children are included in the deal and their say should be encouraged. You are quite right about their insight it is remarkable

I agree it is highly daunting, I have been a single mum since conception and even though a man who will accept your child/children as a part of you can be hard to find they are out there, I had a wonderful partner who loved my daughter as his own and was heart broken when we split up, not because of me but because of my little girl!!! Having had one relationship with a man of such a nature lends me hope that I can find another. Good luck and just remember that even though at the moment you might not have a partner you will always have your beautiful children to love and love you.
