The philosopher Socrates once said 'True wisdom comes to each of us when we realize how little we understand about life, ourselves, and the world around us.' Thus forms the ethos of my ambition and drive in life, to pursue life's experiences in all it's forms and learn plenty of things along the way. Tempered with a quirky sense of humour which lends itself to a view that is neither too serious nor too careless, I have a passion for unveiling and understanding the human condition. I'm a very kindhearted and honest person, as I value truth and sincerity. Cerebral in my ideologies but whimsical in nature, you will find me enjoying a thought provoking and challenging book or laughing my arse off at a funny tv show or indulging in the other senses, as I'm a bit of a hedonist at heart.

Eye candy is something that I believe should be experienced at least once a day and may include (but not limited to!) seeing the intricacies of nature in the great outdoors, watching films that have the ability to inspire and overwhelm and enjoying art in all it's forms, performance, sclupture, paintings. There is something sublime about losing yourself in a painting. I enjoy a broad range of movies from comedies, thrillers & arthouse to ones that leave you wondering if you've been on drugs. Fav. directors include scott, kubrick, stone, tarantino, lynch, cronenberg. Fav. movie is Bladerunner. I have a few fav. tv shows like Lost, House, scrubs, Family Guy, Weeds, Heroes, etc. I also Love to read. I'm currently reading mostly non-fiction like Richard Dawkins, Stephen Hawking, Steven Pinker etc but I also enjoy novels/literature and nerd mags like new scientist and computer books. I mostly read when I have spare time or in bed.

Ear candy is something that I enjoy regularly. I love many types of music and love seeing a live band or a concert.Music taste is very broad from classical/world to Alternative, Hard Rock and Psytrance/electronica and all the shades in between. Memorable gigs i've been to include Tool, Massive Attack, NIN, Bob Log, Meredith, BDO 2000, and many local gigs.

Taste and smell are perhaps one of the more enjoyable senses! I love to cook at home and there's nothing more mouthwatering than the scent of spices filling a house! Favourite things to cook include curries (of course) and i make some mean enchaladas and pastas. I love spicy foods! but I will try anything at least once.

Experiencing the world with your sense of touch is something that never gets old. Whether it be walking through the city or a park, feeling the jostle of a crowd at a gig, a warm touch from a loved one (i'm not afraid of affection!) or trekking through a foreign place overseas. Life's pleasures are everywhere!
