Recent transplant from East Coast (Philly) I like Jazz/Blues/Classic Rock and Reggae.
I like good resturants and am also an excellent cook.
I am white but was married for 10 years to a beautiful African woman who passed 3 years ago. I would prefer to find another multi-cultural relationship.
I want something LTR and committed on things that really matter but open enough to let us both be free enough to be ourselves. A relationship is what ever 2 people define it to be, not what society tells them it must be.
Let's have some fun while we explore our definitions.

I'd like to meet first in the earlier part of the day (Say around noon time) for good coffee and a light lunch. Maybe at a Starbucks, or better still, at some non-corporate chain equivilant.
A little get to know you chat will remove the tension of first contact from the evenings date. If either of us feels the whole thing is horribly wrong this will be the opportunity to back out gracefully, no harm no foul. Hopefully we will find each other interesting; perhaps even charming. Then, when the evening comes, the first date will seem more like a second date and we can be more comfortable with each other.
I like the idea of a light dinner at a quality resturant. We can discuss the cuisine. I enjoy exotics like Greek or Indian or Ethiopian but I am open to most anything.
Dinner followed by drinks and good music at a jazz or blues club.
After that, it's strictly ladies choice.
