What I Like To Do :
I like to travel and explore new places and cultures. I love to socialize and be around people. There are many things that I´d like to try-- I´d like to learn to ski, scuba, hang-glide; I´d like to go white-water rafting, etc. For a relaxing time I´d like a hammock on a quiet beach somewhere with a margarita in one hand and a good book in the other! Locally, I enjoy live music, the beach; fine dining, horseback riding, swimming, and watching my children play sports. I exercise fairly regularly at the YMCA, and enjoy yoga and rock climbing there as well. Weekend excursions are definitely on the agenda as well. I am a proud parent of two children. I do well with balancing my adult private life with the responsibilities of single parenthood. Although I enjoy lots of activities with my children, I have my time away from them as well.

Who I Am :
I am an educated, articulate professional. I´m a New Yorker by birth, AND I´m Italian, -- friends say I´m a little spit fire—always on the go. I am a teacher, and I love what I do. I am constantly cutting up in the classroom working humor into the subject matter. On a more serious note, I am a compassionate individual who is involved in her community and does her best to make a difference in the lives of others. I am a spiritual person, Episcopalian by denomination, although I attend an interdenominational church.

What I'm Looking for :
I would like to meet a man who shares SOME of my interests (you don´t have to be a rocket scientist), has an adventuresome spirit, and a kind heart. Eventually I would like to settle into a monogamous, long-term relationship which may even result in marriage.
