I am looking for friends, people to hang out with, activity partners, dating, possibly something that might grow to long term.

I'd like to meet someone who does what i do and likes what i like or can broaden my interests to start doing what she does and develop a liking for what she likes.

For the past six years, I've thrown myself into my work and soccer. That has mostly involved teaching, athletics and working with young (through college age) people. Officiating soccer at youth, high school, and adult recreational levels keeps me active in both these areas. Volunteering in the press box at Colorado College hockey games, and serving as the UCCS (university of colorado at colorado springs) faculty athletics representative both contribute to my love of athletics and working with younger people.

Merely doing that isn't enough any more. I'm wanting to find people to share my life with. Adult conversation, dinner out, comparing how two minds see things, seeing more of this beautiful state and the rest of the country. Doing things with couples and not feeling like a third wheel. I enjoy traveling and being outdoors. have been to most of the states and both europe and asia.

meeting at a coffee shop or deli or cafe in the afternoon is open ended and safe. a first meeting is all about getting to know someone better than you can through e-mail. it isn't the place as much as it is the conversation. doing something touristy or attending a sporting event is also a good opportunity to get to know someone better and broaden ones experiences. am not into fast food or chains. if it is to be a meal, a lunch is probably better than a dinner. a picnic in a park might work. So might going to a beautiful place and taking in that beauty.
