Hi ! Thanks for reading my profile. Like you, I am in search of someone to spend my life with. It’s not easy to do. It’s fun to meet and date new people to learn their perspective on the world. So, I am diving into the world of internet dating. I haven’t dated in awhile, but am excited about a new relationship and looking forward to it. I have lived in Massachusetts for about 2 years, so I don’t know many people, let alone, a woman to date. I have read lots of the women’s profiles and I find many of you look for a stable, kind, affectionate, good looking and down to earth man. I feel I have those qualities and more! I am 47 years old. I have never been married…..just haven’t found the right woman. I am 5’ 10” and weigh 185. I am well-groomed. I have an athletic build and the women I have known have always called me “cute” for the longest time. That decision is up to you, of course. Most people tell me I look younger than I am.
I hope to have a lasting and loving relationship like my parents. They have been married 51 years. I have learned from them about commitment, patience, dedication, devotion, sacrifice and of course, true love. My family means a lot to me. My brother and sister both have families and I love what they have. No matter what happens there will always be that unconditional love between all of us. We grew up in Philadelphia and had a great time as a family.
I am, and have always been, employed on a full time basis. My first job was working in a fish market on Martha’ Vineyard when I was 13. Currently, I am a manager in the grocery business. I live alone in a townhouse in between Boston and Worcester. I don’t have any children and don’t want any of my own. I don’t think at this point in my life it would be fair to have a child. It’s certainly OK if you have kids. I like kids! They have a great perspective on the world. We can learn a lot from them. I don’t have any pets, but I am more of a dog person than a cat person, if you know what I mean. I really love all animals. Love the Zoo and the Aquarium.
I also love to travel. I have been to lots of places. I went to Italy, Switzerland, Germany and Lichtenstein. My Uncle was Ordained as a priest in Italy and I went to celebrate his 30th anniversary with a bunch of realtives. I took a gondola ride through Venice and played frisbee in the courtyard in front of the Vatican (almost hit a nun!) I went to the top of the Swiss Alps. What a spectacular view! My brother and I drove cross country one year for a couple of months and we stayed with people we knew here and there and stayed in campgrounds the rest of the time. What a great experience! We must have been through 35 states and we stopped in Juarez, Mexico for an afternoon and bought some bullhorns. We made it to Vancouver, Canada, also. We played frisbee in a park with some girls we didn’t know.
I hope you like what you have read so far. I guess I could also tell you I am pretty down to earth.I am neat and organized. I try to joke around and be silly most of the time, but I am serious when I need to be. I like to listen to live music. I really like the Blues, Rock, Oldies, some Reggae and some Top 40. I think my musical taste is pretty cool. I like to take drives to nowhere. I like to go antiquing, to fairs and festivals, dining out, shopping, playing pool, walks in the park (holding hands, of course). ! I am the kind of guy that would hold doors open for you. I would give you my coat if you were cold. Oh yeah, I also really like to KISS ! Yes, in public, too. I am very affectionate, if you know what I mean! I don’t smoke, drink or do drugs. I like to watch some sports on TV, but if there is something better to do, let’s do it! I don’t have to watch the game. I like going to the movies, bowling and eating lots of ice cream! My parents have a house on Martha’s Vineyard and that’s where I spend my vacation time! I go the beach and swim and I fish. You can’t beat that! I do watch TV and I like Two And A Half Men, My Name Is Earl, The Big Bang Theory, Lost, the news, The Daily Show, TMZ and That 70’s Show. I have skied a few times, but I am not a big fan of the snow. Before I lived in Massachusetts, I spent 10 years in Atlanta, Georgia and I didn’t even see snow the whole time I was there. I really liked that!
