What do you enjoy? Now that I think about it, I find all of these activities can be experienced alone. It is time to broaden my horizons.

The sum of my experience in the field of dating on a scale of 0 to 10 is insignificant. If I had my way I would chat with lots of people everyday in person. (En carne viva...) This would be easy if I set up a rustic coffee shop with tables, comfortable chairs, delicious coffee, tea, freshly baked bread, books on shelves, and interesting sketches on the walls, in a village market where people might choose to rest for a while before heading off to run other errands. Eventually, I would end up with a marvelous array of interesting acquaintances, and with any luck a number of compatible friends.

I agree with Mother Theresa, who said, "I need both the love of others and to love others, to not only be happy, but to live. Being unwanted, unloved, uncared for, forgotten by everybody, I think that is a much greater hunger, a much greater poverty than the person who has nothing to eat." She knew that both hungers went hand-in hand.

"All about me" is a silly thing to write about. I believe no one really cares to know everything about another person. We care about ourselves. The most important thing you need to know about me is that I care about others, enjoy hearing their stories, jokes, sorrows, joys, and the things in their culture that make them think.

My perfect first date would take place at my rustic coffee shop. I could serve freshly baked bread, delicious coffee, and we could exchange ideas about the books on the shelves, and talk about the sketches on the walls.
