This is a first for me, the internet dating I mean, so here goes...
I'm a normal type of guy, at least think I am, but in reality probably not.
I'm a bit of a kid at heart, you have to have fun, otherwise what is the use of being here? That does not mean I cannot take things seriously, just that I don't get hung up on stuff like beating the Joneses, whoever they are.
Life is short, as long as you don't hurt anybody, make the most of it I say! I Like the outdoors, picnics, a drink in the beer garden on a sunny day. I do like getting dressed up on the odd occasion going out & having a good laugh, or going to a fancy dress as ET's best mate.. I like to cook, well I have to, so I try.
My interests include travel, usually to places that you can live like a king for not much and there is a chance for a bit of adventure, with luck also, something I won't see at home.
I get on a motorcycle whenever I can & go for a long Sunday morning ride in the country. Occasionally I go out for a paddle in the waves, well as long as it is warm enough. I do a little diving, where else can you hang in space upside down? Who would not want to do that??? I have an interest in history, which is for me, is a way of fooling myself that I have lived longer than I have, or is possible really when you think about it, but is it any different to reading the news paper about a story that happened yesterday on the other side of the world? With a little imagination...
My more nerdy side is my passion for science/techy type stuff, photography, or a bit of gaming.(not gambling, boring)
My sporting interests are motor sport in winter & cricket in the summer, in the background. I could not sit & watch, I'd fall asleep.
The types of movies I like are comedies, yes even the romantic ones, the usual boy stuff, scifi, but nothing depressing. I really like stand up comedy shows.
Hoping to meet the right girl, not looking for a fling/ one night stand, I'm a bit of an old fashioned romantic, & I'm comfortable with my own company, but if there is someone out there & we are right for each other I would definitely like to meet.

Pretty simple really, going for a walk & a chat somewhere with a nice view.
