ballsup Where ever I go there I am (if you dont ask you dont get)

Came here from Aussie a year ago, based in Auckland but travel the north island with my job. Eclectic taste in music - depends on how I feel at the time. Miss my Aussie rules and will have to learn more about rugby! A drink on the weekend and a good movie with friends, a sunday BBQ, a good book and a walk in a park help me to unwind. I have a warped sense of humour - can find a serious subject amusing at times. Need new friends since coming over here I have had a lot happen to me and am getting cynical, but life story can wait for another time and place. I don't like to eat brains. (Although I eat, say, sardines that presumably have brains - then again they got caught so maybe not). Will cook when the mood takes me but hate cooking for 1. Oh, do Kina have brains? Cant stand the sight or smell of them being eaten either.

Hey! Anyone that read my profile above to the end wants to know more would be too psychotic for me to meet. But when in Rome....I would hope for a sense of humour that is irreverant, and an appreciation for the simple things in life that are worth enjoying. Can put up with me being away and can turn my culinary disaster into something edible without having to reach for the takeaway menu. Tall is nice but not important - And understands that there can be a companionable silence without there being something "wrong". Movies, a drink or even watch a good game of rugby (Is there such a thing?) is all within the realms of things I like or might like. Hey, an open fire and beach is good too, moonlit nights and moonless nights, occasional recreational fishing or camping gee I dont know there is so much I have not done so how do I know what I may like tomorrow if I have not tried it before today? Should I rule out snowboarding because I have not tried it? Anyhow, want a friend or two I can spend some time with, and if I meet the right person a relationship would be a good possibility too.
