Where do I start? I suppose I should err on the side of self-flattery…
I’m 6’1”, not aware that I’m ugly, and I’m a friendly sort of person. I’m intelligent, well employed, and not rich but comfortable. I’m an ex Navy Legal Officer, diving instructor, rescue medical technician, security negotiator,

Things I like:
- cooking for someone
- quiet nights at home (with someone)
- a good coffee and a book, or better still, a chat
- a good bottle of red
- a drive or ride in the country, on rough tracks or just touring around and exploring
- going bush; camping, hiking, 4WDriving… just getting out there away from the world, taking photos
- beautiful places
- animals (and not just because they taste so good BBQ’d)
- kids (as above)

Things I don’t like:
- night clubs; can’t relax and have a chat
- smoking; smells yucky (what more can I say)
- drugs
- getting drunk every weekend (I have one too many on occasion, but it’s not a regular thing)

Some other things about me:
- at home I drink tea (lots of it) I have lots of herbal teas, but usually just drink it white… I like my women like I like my tea: strong and unsweetened
- when I’m out I drink coffee, usually a flat white
- I drive a Jeep soft top, pretty heavily modified for 4WDriving
- I also ride a big BMW off-road touring motorbike
- I’m a terrible painter, but I’m a bit of an amateur photographer, and have a fair few of them around the house… I also make steel sculptures
- I live on a farm (not my farm, it’s just a house in the middle of one) out past Windsor. At night it’s pitch black and quiet with a blanket of stars above. In daylight it’s surrounded by green pastures and cattle, with a view down over the river.

I am looking for a woman who is intelligent, strong, considerate and who can understand me (one day). But isn’t that what everyone wants? I’ve had enough of serial monogamy… I want to find that one woman I’ve been looking for. I’ve loved before, but only been ‘in love’ once. But that's not meant to be pressure: I hope to pick up some new friends along the way. :D
