Hi,
I guess this is the bit where I go on about how I'm such a nice guy.
But if you've read a fair few profiles already, you'll have noticed that they all seem to say the same things (if anything at all) and that we're ALL nice guys.

I'm not into playing macho head games.
If you ask those who know me well, they would tell you that I have an incredibly generous and sincere heart.
I'm not afraid to take risks and I'm not afraid to express myself.
Whether I'm happy, sad, angry, hurt or in love. The ones I respect the most usually know how I feel.

Of all the things I am, there is one thing I'm definitely not - a phoney.
I don't have to try to fool myself or others to feel good about myself and I don't pretend to be something I'm not.
I know who I am and I'm comfortable with that.

I know I'm not perfect - but then who is? Ultimately, I would like to share my life with someone special - loneliness really sucks, you know?
As time passes I think I've become less optimistic and more realistic.
I've come to accept that it may never happen.
But while I still wake up every day, I have to keep thinking that my best friend is somewhere, out there, not too far away.

Reading this, you might get the impression that I'm all serious and shit.
I'm actually a big kidder, I love to laugh and muck around and I have a warped sense of humour.

The woman I'd like to be with would ideally be a physically active, fun loving, intelligent, attractive, affectionate woman who doesn't necessarily understand my eccentricities but can appreciate me for them.
I enjoy a friendly debate but can admit when I've been proven wrong. I'm opinionated and passionate about what I believe and want to share what's on my mind and I want to hear what she has on her's so she needs to be outspoken or at least have an opinion of her own. She must have good teeth and a strong back. Aaaha... just kidding on the opinion thing.....

There's a song by Prince called "Walk, Don't Walk". It has the line "The sun will shine upon you one day, if you're always walking your way."
If I had to adopt a motto, this would be it.
There's also a song by Roxette called "She's Got the Look". It has the words "Walking like a man, hitting like a hammer, she's a juvenile scam. Never was a quitter, tasty like a raindrop, she's got the look."
I have no idea what the hell that means.

I grew up in Glenroy and I live in East Keilor.
I'd like to meet someone who isn't too far away. I've found that distance can really put a strain on a relationship.

Please, this is IMPORTANT. If your profile doesn't say and you'd like to contact me, let me know what suburb you live in and if your profile has no photo you MUST attach one (Professional glamour photos don't count. Geez who doesn't look good in those?).
If you're the "I don't believe in a photo" type, try secondlife-singles. The guys on that site aren't interested in meeting people in the real world either.

If there's one thing that I find most disappointing it's those who don't have the maturity to reply when they're not interested to continue contact.
I know I'm not everyone's cup of cocoa, that's just the way it goes.
I promise to reply to all with photos who take the time to contact me and if I'm not interested I will respectfully say so.
Those without or who don't send photos, are time wasters and I'm not interested either way.

So, you're honest - I get it. You're caring - I get it. You 'luv' cuddles - yeah, yeah, I get that too.
If your profile is generic or says very little about you or looks like it was typed while wearing boxing gloves, you'd better have a damn good photo!
