In my opinion, communications is the number one factor for a successful relationship. You must be able to express to the other what you want and need in life; chances are the relationship will grow. Other factors for the ideal relationship are friendship, commitment, affection and lots of hard work. Need to understand each others feelings and respect them; and treat each other the way you would like to be treated.

Good looks are important, but not everything. There has to be chemistry and enthusiasm between us. She should be intelligent, sweet, sexy, and appreciates being catered to. We should have similar interests, values, and a mutual attraction for each other. My idea of a first date would be in a relaxed and fun atmosphere with no expectations except for conversation, respect, humor, politeness, and discovery. A place where we would be able to talk and learn about one another. We should enjoy talking to and listening to what each other has to say. And if the chemistry is there, we'll want to do it all over again.
