At the age of 37, with no sign of a husband in sight, I chose artificial insemination and was blessed with two healthy boys. For the past 7 years, I've worked hard to care for them (and a dog) and run a household. I finally realize it's time for me to find an adult companion. I have a wonderful family, but they are 2-3 hours away. I enjoy golfing, dinners and a movie, Beach Bums, MSU games, anything outside with the kids . . . basketball, kickball, walks. We all love anything on the water. I am not looking for a father for my boys, but if we get serious, you need to be a great role model for my kids, too.
My perfect first date.. We drive ourselves to a casual restaurant and enjoy a meal and a beer while talking about whatever comes to mind. We then drive ourselves home . . . no stress, no expectations. No second date has to be set yet, unless there was an obvious connection felt by both of us.
